Since 2012 I am affiliated to the University of Illinois Fire Service Institute IFSI, at Urbana Champaign, where I work with dr. Brian Brauer on fire fighter cultures. I participated in drills and excersises (as part of my fieldwork research) on Rapid Intervention, HAZMAT and Incident Command. In addition, I followed the FEMA courses Incident Command System in classroom settings:
